Business Forums
Committee Chair: Pat Beiard, Maintream Technologies, Inc.

- Provides planning and support for Business After Hours networking events
- Schedules F.Y.I. general membership luncheon speakers & sponsors
- Plans annual Chamber banquet

Communications & Technology
Committee Chair: John Paul Mains, Softwyre

- Increase the visibility of the Chamber in North Little Rock and Central Arkansas
- Supports the ongoing activities of the various Chamber committees and staff work
- Increase communication among Chamber members, between staff and members, and between the Chamber and the community at large
- Assures the Chamber is properly equipped with the technology infrastructure needed to provide efficient, cost effective member services and community involvement
- Provides oversight for the Chamber's web site including identification for expanded uses in both membership services and community economic development purposes
- Serves as an advocate for increased use of technology that provides value to Chamber members and the community
- Resource for other Chamber committees and the EDC related to technology issues and opportunities
Education
Committee Chair: Cheli Stafford, Junior Achievement
Meetings: Date (meetings are the last Wednesday of each month), Time ( 11:00 a.m.), Location (Chamber office)
- Works with the business community and local educational institutions to provide a quality workforce
- Identifies outstanding area students for scholarship awards
- Promotes and supports quality public school education
- Supports Arkansas Scholars, Vital Links, Partners in Education and Junior Achievement
Golf
Committee Chair: Charlie Martin, Arvest Bank
Meetings: Date (meetings usually held 2-3 months prior to the golf tournament held in August), Time ( 4:00 p.m.), Location (TBD)
- Plans and executes Annual Golf Scramble
Leadership Renaissance
Committee Chair: Shara Brazear, North Little Rock School District, & Co-Chair Monieca West, Department of Higher Education
Meetings: (January - April, sessions begin in February), Time (TBA), Location (TBA)
- Develops the curriculum for the Leadership Renaissance Program
- Leads program sessions
- Selects students to participate in the program
- Makes presentations to the students
Leads Group
Committee Chair: Rotates Quarterly
Meetings: Date (Every other Tuesday), Time (8:30a.m.), Location (Chamber Office)
- Exchange leads, ideas, and information through the fellowship of members diverse professions
Market Arkansas
Committee Chair: Dennis McKelvey, Bylites
Meetings: Date (meetings are the 2nd Thursday of each month), Time ( 10:00 a.m.), Location (Chamber office)
- Plans and executes annual Market Arkansas Business Expo (one of the largest business expos in central Arkansas )
- Plans and executes Taste of the Town food showcase
Member Services
Committee Chair: Judy Wilson, Metropolitan National Bank
Meetings: Date (meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month), Time ( 1:30 p.m.), Location (Chamber office)
- Maintains a strong membership base by consistently recruiting new members
- Coordinates membership retention program
- Offer services to the small businesses
- Assists with Chamber Alliance Program-small business health benefits package
Military Relations
Committee Chair: Lana Roach, Courtyard by Marriott Little Rock West
Meetings: Date (meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month), Time ( 10:00 a.m.), Location (Chamber office)
- Enhance good relationships between the Little Rock Air Force Base and Camp Robinson
- Participates in the Right-Start Program at the Little Rock Air Force Base (Introduce our business community to all newcomers)
- Plans and organizes a special event
- Plans and organizes a tour of the Little Rock Air Force Base and Camp Robinson at least once a year for committee, Board Members, etc.
- Continues to seek new ways to assist the military community
NEXT Generation Young Professionals
Committee Chair: Ed Linck, LTS Logistics
Meetings: Date (meetings are the 1st Tuesday of each month), Time (5:00 p.m..), Location (Chamber office)
- To provide networking opportunities for young professionals
- To provide opportunities to become involved in the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce
- To provide opportunities for members to become more involved with the community
- To provide leadership opportunities for young professionals
- Annual Dues Required: $25 for NLR Chamber Members; $50 for non-NLR Chamber Members
Public Relations & Marketing

- Markets and promotes North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce accomplishments and achievements to the membership and the community and increases recognition and support for the Chambers mission and program of work
- Continues to implement Chamber image campaign
- Assists in marketing and promoting Chamber special events
- Assists in organizing special events
- Promotes Chamber events through local media outlets
- Works with various Chamber committees on key announcements and media events
Sports
Committee Chair: Bobby Vint, Graduate Sales/Balfour

- Plans and executes QualChoice Junior Golf Invitational
- Assists in planning and executing sports activities in North Little Rock and Central Arkansas area
Vanguard
Committee Chair: Mistie Hill, Staffmark
Meetings: Date: (held 2nd Thursday of each month), Time ( 4:30 p.m.), Location (usually held at the Chamber office)
- Serves in a public relations capacity
- Attends all ribbon-cuttings, groundbreakings, Grand Openings, FYI Luncheons and Networks
- Provides planning and support for Business After Hours and other networking events
- Members serve as mentors to new and existing members fore retention and updated information
